JBSNF-000088 (6-Methoxynicotinamide) is an analog of nicotinamide (NA) and a potent NNMT (nicotinamide N-methyltransferase) counterpart. The IC50 for human NNMT, monkey NNMT and mouse NNMT are respectively 1.8 µM, 2.8 µM and 5.0 µM. In simulated animal models, JBSNF-000088 inhibits NNMT activity and reduces MNA levels to drive insulin sensitization, concentration regulation, and weight loss.
